The Pandemic series.

These paintings were produced during the pandemic of 2020 and 2021. Strangely, I actually found it difficult to paint during this period. I think the start/stop nature of it in the beginning meant I never thought there would be enough time to do something serious. In the end I finished the large Pandemic 1 (a key painting for me) and then for the rest of the pandemic I responded to circumstances with a commission and a pair of paintings given as a gift and then finally a Christmas Painting. During this time I also became involved in another project building the website www.listentopoetry.com, in the end this became the major project I worked on over the pandemic.
